Zulkifli Hasan and Sandiaga Uno Meet the General Chairperson Exactly
Jurnal Update. PAN Chairperson Zulkifli Hasan along with the Candidate for Vice President Sandiaga Uno welcomed the General Chairperson of Persis who was also a West Java figure KH Aceng Zakaria at the Ranca Bango Islamic Boarding School in Garut, Monday night. KH Aceng Zakaria welcomed the presence of Zulkifli Hasan and Sandiaga Uno who had just canceled their fast, with special dishes from West Java.
In his remarks, Zulkifli Hasan mentioned the existence of Persis as an organization which participated in fighting for Indonesian independence. "Exact History from the era of independence struggle to maintaining independence, is proof that Islam and Nationality cannot be separated," Zulkifli Hasan said in a release on Tuesday.
To KH Aceng Zakaria, Zulkifli Hasan, who is also the Chair of the MPR, is asking for prayer that the implementation of the 2019 Presidential Election will run smoothly, peacefully and bring goodness to the nation and especially to Muslims.
"He KH Aceng Zakaria also entrusted his aspirations regarding the condition of Muslims in our vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno. Hopefully it can be implemented if later God willing, elected. Advancing with Muslims, do not leave the Muslims after being elected," he said.
This meeting was a series of the agenda of PAN General Chairperson Zulkifli Hasan and vice president Sandiaga Uno greeting residents as well as gathering to meet influential Kyai and Ulama in West Java.
Previously Zulkifli Hasan invited Sandiaga Uno to pilgrimage to KH Abdul Halim's tomb at Santi Asromo Majalengka Islamic Boarding School, to meet 212 figure KH Nonop Hanafi in Ciamis and to join the Al Idrissiyah Islamic Boarding School in Tasikmalaya.
